Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter launched at Rs 1.2 lakh: Here’s everything you need to know

Bengaluru-based startup, Ultraviolette Automotive recently launched its first mass-market electric scooter, the Tesseract, priced at ₹1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The first 10,000 buyers can avail of a discounted price of ₹1.20 lakh. Pre-bookings are open for ₹999, with deliveries set to begin in the first quarter of 2026. The Tesseract offers 34 litres of under-seat storage and runs on 14-inch wheels. It will be available in four colours: Sonic Pink, Desert Sand, Solar White, and Stealth Black.

Built on a new platform, the Tesseract is powered by a 20.1 bhp electric motor and offers a range of up to 261 km per charge, depending on the chosen battery pack. It comes with three battery options: 3.5kWh, 5kWh, and 6kWh. The scooter accelerates from 0-60 kmph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 125 kmph. Its battery can charge from 0 to 80% in under an hour.

The model features a 7-inch touchscreen TFT console with onboard navigation, dual dashcams, wireless charging, haptic feedback, dual-channel ABS, traction control, and hill hold assist. It also includes dynamic stability control.

A key highlight is its radar-based ADAS, making it the first scooter in India with this technology. Features include blind spot detection, overtake alerts, lane change assist, and collision warnings.
