Ferrari has brought its Universo Ferrari exhibition to India for the first time, opening an immersive showcase in New Delhi on October 17, 2026. Open to the public until November 1, the exhibition brings together the Italian marque’s racing heritage, sports cars, design, technology and lifestyle. The event also highlights Ferrari’s long term plans for India through new dealerships, community engagement and initiatives involving young Indian talent.
Universo Ferrari India – Racing and Automotive Heritage Display
Inaugurated by Benedetto Vigna, Chief Executive Officer of Ferrari, Universo Ferrari India offers visitors an opportunity to explore different aspects of the company. The exhibition features dedicated sections covering Scuderia Ferrari, its sports car range, Ferrari Classiche, personalisation, the Ferrari Luce project, Hypersail and the brand’s activities in India.

The racing section includes the SF 26 Formula 1 car, the 499P endurance racer, which has won the Le Mans 24 Hours three times, and the 296 GT3. The Ferrari Challenge section features the 296 Challenge, the first six cylinder engine car in the brand’s single make racing series. Ferrari Hypersail, the company’s sailing project, is also on display, extending its focus on performance and technology beyond road cars and motorsport.

The sports car display includes the 849 Testarossa Spider, 12Cilindri Spider, Amalfi Spider and F80. Visitors can also explore Ferrari Luce through a dedicated display explaining the ideas, technologies and craftsmanship behind the project. The Daytona SP3 and its 840 cv V12 engine are also featured.
Universo Ferrari India further showcases Ferrari’s personalisation capabilities through the Tailor Made 12Cilindri Manuale. The Ferrari Classiche section includes the F50 and 365 GTB4, alongside a special Ferrari 612 Scaglietti that participated in the 2008 Magic India Discovery tour. The 13,000 kilometre journey, driven by more than 50 international journalists, helped introduce Ferrari and India’s landscapes to audiences worldwide.

Universo Ferrari India – Ferrari Tailor Made x National Institute of Design
A key part of the exhibition is the Tailor Made India project, developed with students from the National Institute of Design. Working from a Ferrari design brief, students explored the identity of ten Indian cities, with Ferrari Design translating their concepts into ten digital configurations.

The collection comprises five Ferrari 12Cilindri and five Ferrari Purosangue configurations inspired by Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Varanasi and Goa. The designs interpret the character of these cities through colours, materials and patterns, creating a collaboration between Italian automotive design and Indian creativity.
Universo Ferrari India – Ferrari Plans Two New Dealerships in India
Universo Ferrari India also signals the company’s plans to expand its retail presence. Ferrari intends to open two new dealerships by the end of 2026. In Chennai, the company will partner with KUN Group, while Infinity Group will support its expansion into Ahmedabad. These additions are intended to bring Ferrari closer to customers while maintaining its focus on personalised service and exclusivity.

The event also included a programme for around 1,000 students, featuring seminars and exchanges with Ferrari leaders and experts on leadership, technology, innovation, product development, design and entrepreneurship.
An exclusive charity auction was also held, in partnership with Avelon Luxe, featured ten lots. Proceeds will support educational projects run by Save the Children and Bal Raksha Bharat in India, including school readiness, foundational learning, educational materials and classroom development. Avelon Luxe has also joined Ferrari as an India based partner for the Ferrari Hypercar and Ferrari Challenge Middle East series.

To mark the exhibition, 25 Ferraris travelled approximately 1,800 kilometres from Mumbai through Vadodara, Udaipur, Jaipur and Agra before arriving in New Delhi.
With Universo Ferrari India, the company is combining its automotive heritage with Indian design, education and retail expansion. The exhibition reflects Ferrari’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the country while preserving the exclusivity and identity associated with the Prancing Horse.
