There are no exterior design changes associated with the introduction of the Tech Package for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The SUV continues with its existing design language, which includes a Crystal Acrylic grille, split LED lighting setup with twin LED daytime running lamps, sculpted body panels and wheel arches with plastic cladding.
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and maintains a stance of SUV proportions. Toyota has not introduced any new exterior accessories or cosmetic revisions as part of this update, keeping the focus limited to interior technology additions.

The Tech Package primarily enhances the cabin of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder through three Toyota Genuine Accessories. These include ambient lighting, a heads-up display and a digital video recorder.
Ambient lighting has been introduced to improve cabin ambience during night-time driving, offering a subtle illumination effect rather than aggressive visual elements. The heads-up display projects key driving information onto the driver’s line of sight, reducing the need to glance at the instrument cluster. Meanwhile, the digital video recorder functions as a dash camera, continuously recording driving footage to support safety and incident documentation.
Apart from these additions, the interior of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder remains unchanged. Existing features such as ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, USB charging ports and a 360-degree camera continue to be offered based on variant selection.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder – Powertrain Options
No mechanical updates have been made to the Urban Cruiser Hyryder as part of the Tech Package rollout. The SUV continues to be offered with three powertrain choices.
The strong hybrid version combines a 1.5 petrol engine with an electric motor and operates in electric-only mode when chosen. Toyota claims a fuel efficiency figure of 27.97 km/l for this setup. The strong hybrid is paired with a e CVT transmission. The 1.5 petrol engine is also available with a CNG kit from the factory, solely paired with the manual transmission.
For buyers preferring conventional drivetrains, the Neo Drive variant uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with manual and automatic transmission options. Both two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations remain available, depending on the variant.

The Tech Package for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder is priced at ₹29,499 and can be installed across all variants. Toyota has confirmed that the package will be available at dealerships nationwide, allowing both new and existing owners to opt for the accessories.
Since the Tech Package is offered as an accessory bundle, it does not affect ex-showroom pricing of the vehicle, which currently starts at ₹10.94 lakh. Installation is carried out using Toyota Genuine Accessories, ensuring compatibility with factory systems.

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder competes in the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment, where it rivals models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
