Euler Storm EV launched at 8.99 Lakhs; first LCV with ADAS

Euler’s Storm EV is available in 2 variants

Euler Motors has launched their latest product in the form of the Storm EV at Rs. 8.99 Lakhs(Ex-showroom). It gets many first-in-segment features like ADAS with front camera and night vision assist as a part of it’s equipment list.

Euler Storm EV: Specifications

Built on a born-electric Skateboard platform, the Euler Storm EV LongRange variant gets a 30kWh battery with a claimed real-world range of 200kms, according to Euler. There is also a T1250 variant available with a smaller battery which Euler claims will give 140Kms of real-world range. Both the versions get a 1250Kg payload capacity as well as DC fast charging capabilities and liquid cooling. Three driving modes are offered- ‘Range’ to be used for regular driving to maximise the range, ‘Thunder’ increases the top speed of the vehicle to 70kmph to be used on highways and a ‘Rhino’ mode for extra torque on steep inclines and hilly terrain.

In terms of safety, the Storm EV offers ADAS features such as Night Vision Assist and a Front Camera based collision alert as a part of it’s suite. It also gets front disc brakes, a fleet management system and 24×7 cctv recording as well as a dashcam and sequential headlamps and taillamps.

Otherwise, the Storm EV is also equipped with air conditioning, 7 or 10 inch infotainment screens with WhatsApp and navigation to help drivers. What’s more, Euler will be offering 1GB per day of data free for the initial customers. To control these functions, the driver also gets steering mounted controls for added convenience.

In terms of pricing, the Storm EV T1250 variant which is made for intracity usage is priced at Rs. 8.99 Lakhs while the Storm EV LongRange 200 made for intercity usage is priced at Rs. 12.99 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). Euler is also offering an extended warranty of 7 years/2,00,000kms as an option.

As for rivals, the Euler Storm EV competes with other electric LCVs such as the Tata Ace EV and SWITCH iev3.
