2025 Renault Triber Facelift Launched: Here’s What’s New

Renault India has launched the Renault Triber Facelift, introducing comprehensive updates to design, interior, and safety features. This marks the first product launch under the company’s new brand direction, “Renault. Rethink.” With a 3-row seating layout, sub-4 metre dimensions, and new feature enhancements, the facelift aims to strengthen Triber’s position in the entry-level MPV segment. The new Triber also debuts the new Renault diamond logo in India, as seen on global models. Renault Triber Facelift

Renault Triber Facelift – Exterior Design

The Renault Triber Facelift features an updated exterior with a bolder front fascia. A new grille design is paired with a sculpted bonnet and reprofiled bumpers, while LED projector headlamps and redesigned LED daytime running lamps enhance road presence. Additional styling elements include LED fog lamps, a new front and rear skid plate, and fresh 15-inch dual-tone Flex wheels. The rear now houses a redesigned bumper, LED tail lamps, and a connecting tailgate embellisher that contributes to the model’s updated visual identity.

Three new body colours have been introduced, expanding the total palette to six monotone and three dual-tone shades. Roof rails now support loads up to 50 kg, adding to the car’s practicality.

Renault Triber Facelift – Interior Design

The interior of the Renault Triber Facelift has been updated with a dual-tone dashboard and a redesigned centre console. An 8-inch floating touchscreen now supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Updates also include a fully digital instrument cluster, LED ambient cabin lighting, new seat upholstery, and blacked-out interior accents for a modern look.

The car continues to offer flexible seating with the “Easy-Fix” third-row seats that can be removed or reconfigured, allowing for 5-, 6-, or 7-seat arrangements. Boot capacity stands at a segment-leading 625 litres in 5-seater mode. Rear AC vents for both the second and third rows, a cooled storage box, and multiple cubbyholes (totaling 23 litres of interior storage).

Renault Triber Facelift – Engine and Powertrain

The Renault Triber Facelift retains the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 72 PS at 6250 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission offered across all variants, while the top-spec ‘Emotion’ variant also offers Renault’s Easy-R AMT. The car is engineered to deliver balanced city drivability and highway performance. Renault also supports government-approved CNG retrofitment options, which are available nationwide and come backed by a 3-year warranty.

Renault Triber Facelift – Safety Features

With the facelift, the Renault Triber Facelift receives significant safety enhancements. Six airbags are now standard across all variants, a noteworthy addition in the entry-level MPV segment. Renault has also introduced front parking sensors—claimed to be a segment-first feature—along with existing safety features like electronic stability program (ESP), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat mounts, and three-point seatbelts for all seating positions.

Additional safety equipment includes ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, follow-me-home headlamps, and speed-sensing door locks. In total, 21 safety features are now standard. To be noted is the pre-facelift Triber scored a 4-Star safety rating in the Global NCAP tests.

Renault Triber Facelift – Pricing and Variants

The Renault Triber Facelift is offered in four variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. The pricing starts at ₹6.29 lakh and goes up to ₹9.16 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). While the manual transmission is available across all four trims, the automated manual transmission (Easy-R AMT) is exclusive to the Emotion variant. The uniform pricing across India reinforces Renault’s strategic positioning of the Triber as an affordable and versatile multi-seater solution.

Renault Triber Facelift – Market Positioning and Rivals

The Renault Triber Facelift competes in a niche yet increasingly competitive sub-4 metre space. Its closest alternatives include premium hatchbacks like the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, while its seating flexibility positions it against budget MPVs such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Toyota Rumion. The Triber distinguishes itself with 7-seater capability, modular space configuration, and segment-leading boot space.

With over 1.84 lakh units sold in India and exports to more than 14 countries, the Triber has carved a unique space for itself. Renault continues to localize more than 90% of the model’s components and has extended its dealership and service network to 350+ and 450+ touchpoints respectively, improving accessibility across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. Bookings for the Triber facelift are open across the country, interested customers can visit their nearest authorised Renault dealership for further details.
