Tata Motors has launched the Tata Tiago EV facelift, updating its entry-level electric hatchback with a refreshed design, enhanced features, and improved convenience. The Tiago EV continues to play a key role in making electric mobility more accessible, and this update builds on that foundation with a stronger focus on technology, usability, and everyday practicality.

The Tiago EV facelift gets a refreshed exterior that aligns with Tata’s latest design direction, giving it a more modern and premium appearance. The front end features updated LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, while the overall stance appears more planted with subtle changes to proportions and detailing. The car also gets connected tail lamps with a lightbar effect at the rear, along with new wheel designs and a dual-tone roof option on higher variants.

Tata is offering the Tiago EV in a range of new colours including Dehradun Dew, Sobo Surge, Pangong Pulse, Matheran Monsoon, Pure Grey, and Pristine White, giving buyers multiple choices across variants.

Inside, the Tiago EV gets a refreshed cabin with improved materials and a more premium layout. The dashboard features a Fabricia Luxe finish, complemented by textured trims and a dual-tone theme. The cabin design is focused on improving comfort and usability while maintaining a modern look.

The feature list has been significantly expanded with the addition of a large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone connectivity, and connected car technology with over 40 features. The Tiago EV also introduces several segment-first features such as a 360-degree surround view camera and a blind view monitor, along with conveniences like wireless charging, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and cruise control.
Tata Tiago EV facelift – Battery Pack, Range and Charging
The Tiago EV facelift is offered with two battery pack options, a 19.2 kWh unit and a larger 24 kWh unit. The larger battery pack puts out 75 hp and 114 Nm of torque while the smaller pack makes 62 hp and 110 Nm of torque. The car also features two drive modes along with adjustable regenerative braking levels claimed to enhance efficiency and driving flexibility.

In terms of range, the 19.2 kWh battery pack delivers an estimated real-world range of around 160 to 170 km, while the 24 kWh battery offers approximately 205 to 215 km under similar conditions. Tata claims the updated Tiago EV now charges up to 40 percent quicker, enabling it to gain around 100 km of range in just 18 minutes. The car also supports DC fast charging, allowing both battery options to charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 35 minutes using a 30kW charger. As standard, it comes with both 3.3kW and 7.2kW AC charging options.
Tata is offering a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery pack for the 24 kWh variant, while the 19.2 kWh battery comes with an 8-year or 1.6 lakh km warranty. The motor is also covered under an 8-year warranty, adding to long-term ownership assurance.

Safety features in the Tiago EV include six airbags as standard along with electronic stability control and hill hold assist. The car is equipped with a 360-degree camera system and a blind view monitor to enhance visibility. Additional features include ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, tyre pressure monitoring system, and a reinforced body structure. The motor and battery pack also come with IP67-rated protection against dust and water ingress.

The Tata Tiago EV facelift is offered in multiple variants across two battery pack options. The 19 kWh version is available in Smart and Pure+ trims, priced at ₹6.99 lakh and ₹8.49 lakh respectively. The larger 24 kWh battery pack is offered in Pure+ and Creative+ variants, priced at ₹9.49 lakh and ₹9.99 lakh. Tata is also offering a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, with pricing starting at ₹4.69 lakh, with an additional battery subscription cost of ₹2.6 per km.
