Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) has launched the updated Innova Crysta in India at a starting price of Rs 19.72 lakhs, with a focus on design updates and added convenience features. The model continues to build on its long standing reputation in the MPV segment, with changes aimed at improving everyday usability while retaining its core strengths of reliability and comfort. Just last week, Toyota also launched its first electric vehicle in India, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella.
2026 Toyota Innova Crysta – Exterior Design
The updated Innova Crysta gets a revised front fascia with a newly styled radiator grille that gives it a more upright and confident look. The front bumper has been updated with new garnish elements, adding a cleaner and more structured appearance. At the rear, subtle changes to the bumper garnish enhance the overall stance without altering the familiar silhouette.
The overall design remains similar, with the updates focused on improving visual appeal rather than changing the core shape of the vehicle. The Crysta is available in five exterior colours namely, Super White, Avant-Garde Bronze, Attitude Black Mica, Platinum White Pearl and Silver Metallic.

Inside, the Innova Crysta gets a refreshed cabin layout with new dual tone leather seat upholstery. The dashboard and door trims now feature updated finishes with copper tone accents and wood pattern inserts, giving the cabin a more premium feel.
In terms of features, the update brings in a wireless charger and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The vehicle continues to offer a 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and steering mounted controls. The cabin remains spacious with flexible seating options, with both seven and eight seat options depending on the variant.
2026 Toyota Innova Crysta – Powertrain and Safety
The Innova Crysta continues with the 2.4 litre diesel engine paired with a 5 speed manual transmission. The engine puts out 148 hp and 343 Nm of torque. Toyota claims a fuel efficiency of up to 15 kmpl
On the safety front, the MPV is equipped with seven airbags, anti lock braking system, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, vehicle stability control and hill start assist. These features ensure a consistent level of safety across variants.
2026 Toyota Innova Crysta – Price and Variants
The Innova Crysta is offered across multiple variants with both 7 seater and 8 seater configurations. The GX and GX Fleet variants are priced at Rs 19.72 lakh for the 7 seater and Rs 19.77 lakh for the 8 seater. The GX Plus is priced at Rs 21.15 lakh for the 7 seater and Rs 21.20 lakh for the 8 seater. The VX variant comes in at Rs 24.93 lakh for the 7 seater and Rs 24.98 lakh for the 8 seater, while the top spec ZX variant is priced at Rs 26.63 lakh for the 7 seater configuration. All prices are ex showroom.
The Innova Crysta continues to be positioned as a reliable diesel MPV catering to both private buyers and fleet operators. It sits below the Innova Hycross in Toyota’s lineup and appeals to buyers looking for a more traditional diesel manual setup.
In terms of competition, it goes up against models like the diesel Kia Carens in the lower price range and the Maruti Suzuki Invicto and Toyota Innova Hycross in the higher segment. However, the Crysta continues to stand out for its proven diesel engine, durability and strong resale value.
