Scoring 30.47 out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection and 45.00 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection, the Toyota Innova Hycross becomes one of the safest MPVs in the country. The Toyota Innova Hycross scored 30.47 out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection. It secured 14.47/16 in the frontal offset test and a full 16/16 in the side impact test. The side pole impact test was rated as ‘OK’.
In both the frontal and side impact tests, the Toyota Innova Hycross demonstrated minimal intrusion into the passenger compartment. Front seat occupants were protected by frontal airbags, pretensioners, load limiters, and a standard driver knee airbag. These results contributed significantly to the 5-star rating.
The Toyota Innova Hycross scored 45 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection. It achieved a perfect 24/24 in the dynamic test and 12/12 for CRS installation.
