Audi India has introduced a new limited-run variant of its flagship SUV—the Audi Q7 Signature Edition. Designed to elevate the ownership experience without altering the mechanical formula, this new edition brings a curated list of aesthetic, comfort, and utility upgrades. Priced at ₹99.81 lakh (ex-showroom), the Q7 Signature Edition sits atop the Q7 range and is based on the Technology variant.
The Audi Q7 Signature Edition does not introduce performance changes but aims to distinguish itself through subtle cosmetic updates and lifestyle-oriented accessories—some of which are new to the Indian luxury SUV segment. Audi had recently launched the Signature Edition of the A4 as well for the Indian Market.
Audi Q7 Signature Edition – Design Enhancements
While the standard Q7 already offers a robust and contemporary design language, the Signature Edition builds on it with a few visual additions. Most notable is the inclusion of Audi rings entry LED lamps, which project the brand logo onto the ground as a welcome gesture. These join dynamic wheel hub caps, which keep the Audi logo upright regardless of wheel rotation—a small but premium touch.
Also new is a metallic key cover, a set of stainless steel pedal caps, and a special alloy wheel paint finish for the 20-inch alloy wheels. Together, these elements sharpen the Q7’s aesthetic appeal without resorting to flashiness.
Audi Q7 Signature Edition – New In-Cabin Features
One of the highlights of the Audi Q7 Signature Edition is the introduction of the Espresso Mobile system, allowing passengers to brew coffee on the go. This in-vehicle coffee solution is designed as part of Audi Genuine Accessories and is a first-of-its-kind offering in this segment.
The edition also includes an Audi Dashcam with universal traffic recording, providing an extra layer of safety and evidence collection in case of incidents. This system operates both while driving and when the vehicle is parked.
These features complement the existing cabin technology, which includes Audi’s Virtual Cockpit Plus, four-zone climate control with aromatization, and a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen Premium 3D Sound System with 730W output.
Audi Q7 Signature Edition – Powertrain and Driving Dynamics
There are no mechanical changes in the Audi Q7 Signature Edition. The SUV retains its 3.0-litre V6 TFSI petrol engine, capable of producing 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque. Paired with a mild hybrid system powered by a 48V setup, the Q7 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The quattro permanent all-wheel drive system ensures excellent traction in varied conditions, while adaptive air suspension and Audi Drive Select with seven drive modes—including an off-road mode—make for a versatile and refined driving experience.
Power delivery is handled by an 8-speed tiptronic automatic transmission, ensuring smooth gear changes and consistent performance across urban and highway scenarios.
Audi Q7 Signature Edition – Safety Features
Audi has retained its comprehensive safety suite in the Q7 Signature Edition. Key highlights include: Eight airbags positioned across cabin zones, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Lane Departure Warning, Park Assist Plus with a 360-degree camera and Adaptive windscreen wipers with integrated wash nozzles
The addition of the dashcam with universal traffic recorder gives the Audi Q7 Signature Edition an edge in passive surveillance—a feature gaining traction among high-end car buyers.
Audi Q7 Signature Edition – Colour Options and Availability
The SUV will be available in five exterior paint shades: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Glacier White, and Samurai Grey. These colours complement the SUV’s premium design language and are aimed at buyers seeking exclusivity without compromising brand identity.
Audi India has confirmed that the Audi Q7 Signature Edition will be offered in limited units, although exact production numbers have not been disclosed.
Audi Q7 Signature Edition – Rivals and Market Positioning
The Audi Q7 Signature Edition competes in the premium luxury SUV space alongside the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90. While rivals offer hybrid or diesel options, the Q7 sticks with a petrol-only powertrain.
