Audi A4 Signature Edition – Segment Positioning and Rivals
This update does not bring any structural or mechanical changes to the A4 platform, which has remained largely unchanged since its last facelift in 2021. In its current form, the A4 continues to compete with the BMW 3 Series LWB and Mercedes-Benz C Class. The BMW 3 Series LWB is priced between ₹62 lakh to ₹65 lakh ex-showroom, while the Mercedes is priced between ₹59.40 and goes up to ₹66.25 lakh ex-showroom.
The Audi A4, in its current generation is in the process of being phased out. International markets have already made the switch to the next-generation A5 sedan, the new replacement for the A4. Although Audi India hasn’t announced anything officially, it’s only a matter of time before the A5 steps in to take the A4’s place here as well.
