Tata Harrier.ev Bookings Open From today: Here’s How to Book Yours

Tata Motors has officially opened bookings for the Tata Harrier.ev, its latest all-electric SUV offering in the premium mid-size segment. The vehicle was unveiled earlier this year, and the company has now announced that customers can reserve the electric SUV online starting today.

The Harrier.ev range starts at ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variants. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) version which Tata calls “QWD”, sits at the top of the variant lineup, and prices start at ₹28.99 lakh (ex-showroom). These prices are introductory and do not include optional extras such as the home charging unit or installation.

The AWD variant of the Tata Harrier.ev is equipped with a dual-motor setup — a 158 PS front motor and a 238 PS rear motor. The combined torque output stands at 504 Nm, and Tata claims a 0–100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds. Tata Harrier.ev – Range and Charging

One of the key specifications of the Harrier.ev AWD is its certified MIDC range of 627 km. This is made possible through a dual-battery (P1 + P2) configuration using Tata’s latest battery technology. The company also claims that the vehicle can be charged for 250 km of range in just 15 minutes using a DC fast charger, positioning it among the more capable long-distance electric SUVs currently available in India.

Design-wise, the Harrier.ev retains the overall styling of its ICE counterpart, with some EV-specific elements such as a closed off grille, redesigned scuff plates and EV specific alloy wheels. The cabin includes a 14.3-inch Samsung NEO QLED infotainment system, a 10-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos, and several digital convenience features. These include Digi Access (a digital key), DrivePay for in-car payments, and Auto Park Assist. A 540-degree surround camera system is also part of the equipment list.

Tata Motors offers the Harrier.ev in six core variants, priced ex-showroom from ₹21.49 lakh to ₹28.99 lakh. The lineup includes Adventure 65 (₹21.49 lakh), Adventure S 65 (₹21.99 lakh), Fearless Plus 65 (₹23.99 lakh), Fearless Plus 75 (₹24.99 lakh), Empowered 75 (₹27.49 lakh), and the top Empowered QWD 75 (₹28.99 lakh).

Colour options include Empowered Oxide, Nainital Nocturne, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. Base Adventure and Fearless variants are limited to white or grey, while higher variants get all the four colour options and a matte‑black ‘Stealth’ option at a premium of ₹75,000.

The Harrier.ev AWD has received a 5-star safety rating under Bharat NCAP. It scored full marks for adult occupant protection (32/32) and 45/49 for child safety. Tata Motors is offering a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery pack, and the SUV includes advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) as standard on higher variants. Standard safety features include 6 airbags, Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), All-wheel disc brakes, Electric parking brake with auto hold, ESP, Hill descent control, Hill hold control, Traction control, Cruiser Control and ABS with EBD. Higher trims get an extra knee airbag, bringing the tally up to seven.

Bookings for the Tata Harrier EV are now open with a token amount of ₹21,000. Interested customers can reserve their electric SUV either online via Tata Motors’ official electric vehicle website or by visiting any authorised Tata dealership across India. Also avaialble online is a configurator where customers can choose their preferred variants and colour.

The Harrier.ev enters a competitive segment that is gradually expanding with new electric models. Its rivals include the Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 , the Hyundai Creta EV, Upcoming Mahindra XUV700 EV, Upcoming Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD Atto 3. The AWD variant, in particular, stands out for offering dual-motor capability at a price point where most competitors currently offer only single-motor setups.

With bookings now open, Tata Motors is aiming to position the Harrier.ev as a practical option for buyers seeking a premium electric SUV with long range and added off-road capability. Deliveries are expected to begin later this year, though an exact timeline has not been disclosed by Tata Motors.
